Find Out How And When Newborn Pictures Are Posted At Good Shepherd, it is our pleasure to offer the Great Expectations Virtual Newborn Nursery to all Good Shepherd Mothers. Please review the information below regarding how newborn pictures and information is posted to the Good Shepherd web site. Written Consent - Due to the nature of the Internet, Good Shepherd will only post a newborn’s picture and information upon the written consent of the Mother. Before the Mother leaves Good Shepherd, she is presented with a Great Expectations Newborn Nursery Photo Consent Form. This form must be completed and signed by the Mother before her newborn’s information will be released for publication. If the Mother wishes to have the Father’s name posted, he must also sign the consent form. Mothers should return the signed consent form to their nurse before they are discharged from Good Shepherd. Newborn Photos - Each newborn delivered at Good Shepherd is photographed shortly after birth for security purposes. It typically takes 3 – 5 business days for each newborn photo to be processed and prepared for posting to the Good Shepherd web site. Once the newborn's photo is published on the web site, it will remain there for 90 days. Newborn photos are deleted off of the web site after 90 days. Good Shepherd is unable to provide copies of newborn photos that have been deleted off of the web site without the mother's written authorization. Posting to the Good Shepherd Web Site – Once the consent form is received and the photo is prepared, the newborn information will be posted to the Good Shepherd web site.
